Adult Classes and Workshops
I'm gathering all of my witches for a night full of cackles, eco dyeing, tarot readings, and cocktails! I'm so excited to announce that The Spell Sisters will be joining us for tarot readings between sipping cocktails (hold the rat tail, please) and learning the basics of bundle dyeing with leaves and flowers. This is a ladies night you won't want to miss!
Cotton blend fabric will be provided, however we encourage you to bring items you wish to dye such as wool or silk scarves, silk tops, handkerchiefs, etc. Cotton can be a difficult material for natural dyes to penetrate whereas silk and wool are often easier to work with when starting out. Goodwill and Value World here we come! Also, there will be a tarot reading sign up sheet upon arrival, so get here early if you'd like a reading! 15 minute readings will be $20 paid night of the event.
This event sold out last year (very quickly) so be sure to register early and tell a friend or three! See you witches soon.
Spend a nostalgic fall afternoon learning (or re-learning) the art of middle-school macramé, a.k.a. friendship bracelets!
We’ll be upgrading from the days of Lisa Frank and Saved by the Bell to incorporate more complex patterns. You’ll learn the four essential knots to make virtually any size or patterned bracelet on your own, with an option for a sliding adjustable closure or classic double braid closure. You’ll walk away with your own small completed bracelet in a pattern and color scheme of your choice, and the skills to make whatever you want at home. It’s a fun craft to share with young ones that does not require much in terms of supplies, money, or mess — just the joy of therapeutic making and handmade beauty!
This workshop will be taught by guest artist Andrea Roselli (@sutrafiberart on Instagram if you'd like to give her a follow!). Andrea's fiber artwork can be viewed and purchased on her Etsy. I am so excited for all of you to meet this kind soul and I'm so happy she is sharing her gift in the atelier.
*Workshop will be held Saturday, November 11th from 3-5pm. All purchased tickets are non-refundable.
Learn the traditional Japanese art of Shibori. In this 2.5 hr class we will explore 4 types of this exciting textile process.

Color choices will include pink, indigo blue, and yellow. Students will make 6 cotton dinner napkins and 2 cotton kitchen towels or decorative textiles as well as receiving a take home manual with full directions of skills learned in class and supply resources.
Dress for mess. We will be using Jacard Procion fiber restive dye so please dress in old clothes/shoes and bring a protective apron. All other materials and supplies needed for dyeing will be provided.
This workshop will be hosted by guest artist Emily Zarse (@emilyzarse on Instragram if you'd like to follow along with her work!). Emily is a local fiber artist who sells her beautiful fiber works on her Etsy. I am so excited to have her in the atelier!
*All tickets purchased are non-refundable.
Our Kinetic Drawing Workshops are back and better than ever. We are now booking one-on-one and small group sessions for you and your closest friends.
Each workshop begins with a personalized Reiki energy balancing session from our empathic healer, Missy Smith, and a guided meditation. Each guest will receive a large piece of canvas that can either be stretched and framed, or hung unstretched once complete. Drawing materials provided are charcoal, chalk pastels, oil pastels, and graphite sticks. In addition to the art portion of the workshop, guests will also each receive a 15-20 minute one-on-one energy healing session with Missy, focusing on igniting your creativity and relaxing your mind. Each workshop will be approximately one hour long, however we understand that for some the session may need to last longer, and we encourage you to stay until you feel complete.
To book your session simply select how many adults will be participating and email email@example.com to set a date and time. Group discounts are applied at checkout. Class size is limited to 5 adults. We encourage you to wear all black clothing that you do not mind getting messy.
